About the Show

Drew Nichols is a musical theatre Swiss Army Knife with a broad set of technical skills and industry experience. He studied composition at Arizona State University and the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Writing Workshop. He’s performed as a music director (Engeman, developmental/educational), keyboardist (ALW’s The Wizard of Oz tour, Tuachan), and rehearsal pianist (Hadestown Bway/tour). He’s worked as an orchestrator (Of Leto, The Light Rail, Broadway Backwards), music librarian (The Phoenix Symphony), company management intern (Glimmerglass Opera), and IT/audiovisual tech for a law firm. Much of his theatre work is now intertwined with digital music production—writing/producing McCobb Mortality Services as a radio musical comedy, and assisting Broadway keyboard programmers (Death Becomes Her, Sunset Blvd, Aladdin, Cats, NBC’s Jesus Christ Superstar Live).
